Whilst losing myself in Liberty at the weekend, I stumbled across this very innovative lighting company – ‘Delightful’. With some really stunning designs they tick the box for mid century modern with a twist, and will add a different dimension to a simple interior scheme – some of the pendant lights could almost be mistaken for an art installation.

A hefty price tag ( £425) – but if you brought one thing this SS13 to add an edgy vibe to your look the Balenciaga ‘golden tube brass rings’ have to be it.
The tastemakers at GUBI have reflected back to the 1980’s with the launch of their gorgeous ‘Bonaparte’ sofa. An era where the fashion is better forgotten, fortunately this reclining beauty has been re-visited. A royal seating experience, with a solid wooden frame and really commercial velvet fabric colour options.

My high from the surface design show has to be discovering Graphic Relief. Aside from the collaboration with Timorous Beasties on some stunning designs, I was struck by the level of detail that can be created from a 3D mould using concrete. This ticks the box for technical beauty!

Okay, so these babies have caused a riot for a while now amongst the fashionistas, but from a purely indulgent note – Chloe’s Susannah…you will be mine very soon!
It is normally mid century modern that ticks my box but Paul Kelleys furniture designs are so innovative and beautiful they deserve shouting about. His combination of materials and cubic shapes exude luxury ( no surprise that he recently collaborated with Fendi on a signature armoire)
